Automatic Pricing is a feature that takes care of pricing your vehicle for you. It boosts your earnings by constantly adjusting your price to match demand. It’s based on a powerful algorithm that considers your specific vehicle and location, your trip history, and changes in supply and demand. These include the time of year, day of the week, and local events. Automatic Pricing is available in select markets.
How does it work?
Hosts are opted in to Automatic Pricing when they first list on Turo. You can choose to change some settings within Automatic Pricing, or just let our system do the work! If you choose to set a minimum or a maximum daily rate, Automatic Pricing will adjust your prices within that range. You can override Automatic Pricing anytime by setting custom prices for specific days on your calendar. You can also set weekly or monthly discounts.
How do I turn it off?
If you prefer, you can turn off Automatic Pricing. If you do, you’ll need to set a default daily price and your preferred discounts. You can still set custom prices for specific days when not using Automatic Pricing.
On the web
- Choose “Vehicles” from the Host dropdown menu at the top of the screen.
- Click “Edit listing” on the vehicle you want to modify.
- Click the “Pricing” tab on the left sidebar menu.
In the app
- Tap the car icon at the bottom.
- Tap the vehicle you want to modify.
- Tap “Pricing.”
A trip’s price is based on the daily price at the time of the trip request. Pending requests will not be affected by a price change.
While we can’t make any specific promises, we believe Automatic Pricing will help you make more from your listings. If you cancel a trip because of pricing, you will be subject to our host cancellation policy.
