To list your car on Turo, your car will need to meet our eligibility requirements and you must have valid personal insurance on your car. You must also satisfy the maintenance and safety requirements. If your car is leased or financed, you should check the policies of your lease agreement or financing terms before attempting to list it on Turo. Finally, you personally need to be verified and approved by Turo as well, as detailed here.
In all countries where Turo is available except the United Kingdom, hosts must be 21 years of age or older to list cars. In the United Kingdom, hosts must be 25 years of age. Hosts also must make sure their vehicles comply with all legal standards and requirements for their region.
You will need the following information in order to list your vehicle:
- Car’s license plate number.
- Car’s make, model, and year.
- At least one photo of your car. We strongly recommend at least one picture showing the exterior of the car and one picture showing the interior. More pictures will help draw interest to your listing. Please be sure to only upload pictures of your car.
- A description of your car. We recommend including: 1) An explanation why guests should choose your vehicle, 2) any special features (sunroof, music system, heated seats, etc.), and 3) any requirements, such as the need to refill with premium fuel.
A detailed description will help attract more guests to your listing. For more tips and suggestions to improve your listing, visit our page on maximizing your earnings.
Please be sure, however, to never provide detailed personal information on your public listing, such as your phone number and home address.
