We know your car is important to you, and we expect travelers to treat it with the same care you would. Your car should always be returned in the same condition that your guest received it in (or better!).
If a guest leaves a mess in your car or the battery is drained, we ask that you contact us within 24 hours of the trip end so we can take the appropriate actions. For cleanliness issues, you’ll need to provide photographs of the vehicle showing the issue at the end of the trip (the photographs must be taken within 24 hours of the end of the trip, and submitted within 24 hours of being requested by Turo as well). We will then discuss your options directly with you for getting the problem fixed.
In the event you need to get your car professionally cleaned, you must provide us with an itemized receipt from a professional cleaning service or auto detailer within seven days of reporting the issue to us. The receipt must show the name, address and phone number of the business. You must use an independent third party for any cleaning or repairs. We will be unable to accept receipts from your own personal company or the company of a relative. Additionally, you must get your vehicle cleaned and provide the receipt to us before the vehicle goes on another trip, or else we may not be able to reimburse you!
