Hosts in the United States, Canada, and Germany must be at least 21 to list a car. In the United Kingdom, hosts must be at least 25.
Turo person-to-person hosts must honor Turo’s age limits for guests. We cannot alter our age policy. Commercial Hosts -- those who provide their own rental insurance to their guests -- may set their own age limits.
Do I pay more if I’m under 25?
Yes. When you book a car with one of our person-to-person hosts, we’ll charge a "Young Driver Fee." The fee is either 30% of the trip price or up to $15* per day, whichever is greater. We charge this fee as part of your total trip cost when you book your trip. This means that even if you’ll be 25 at the time of the trip, you’ll still be charged the fee if you are under 25 at the time of the booking.
Commercial Hosts may have their own age restrictions and associated fees.
