The Business Class (“BC”) Program allows hosts to obtain a badge to identify both themselves and their qualifying vehicles as well-suited to meet the needs of business travelers.
To qualify for the BC Program, a vehicle and its host must meet certain criteria over the course of the preceding 12 months.
The vehicle must:
- offer automatic transmission
- have a model year of 5 years old or less
- not allow pets
- have at least two images
- offer delivery
The vehicle’s host must:
- have a Turo account in good standing
- have completed 3 or more trips across all vehicle listings
- have at least 90% of reviewed trips be 5-star rated across all vehicle listings
- approve 85% or more of trip requests across all vehicle listings
- fulfill at least 90% of all approved booking requests across all vehicle listings
If you qualify for BC status, a BC badge will be added to your qualifying vehicle listings. Eligibility for a BC badge is automatically evaluated every 90 days. A host who has had their BC status revoked will be reevaluated at the beginning of the subsequent eligibility period.
How to use your BC badge
We want you to be proud of your BC status, but please don’t:
- Use or display your BC badge outside of your listing
- Claim to be endorsed by Turo, or otherwise misrepresent your association with Turo
- Commercialize the BC badge (such as by creating, importing, or selling merchandise with the BC badge or by displaying your BC badge on third party websites or mobile applications)
Turo does not endorse any BC vehicle or host, nor guarantee or control the quality, safety, suitability of any particular vehicle, or conduct of any host, regardless of whether or not a host has a listing with a BC badge. If your listing qualifies for the BC badge, this means you have met the performance standards and your vehicle listing satisfies certain criteria, which are measured by an automated system based on your activity on the Turo platform and information you provide about your listing. It does not mean that Turo endorses, certifies, or approves your vehicle(s) or you as a host. You remain entirely responsible for complying with applicable laws and for all your other obligations under our Terms of Service.
You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold Turo harmless from all claims, suits, damages, costs, and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, associated with your misuse of the BC badge or with any false or misleading statement, act or omission by you in relation to your listing’s designation as a BC listing.
Turo may terminate or modify the BC Program at any time for any reason.
Your BC badge may be revoked at any time if you or your vehicle listing fail to meet our current qualification standards, which may be changed from time to time in Turo’s sole discretion.
Participation in the BC Program is a privilege, not a right. Your listing’s BC status may be revoked at our sole discretion if you violate these terms, the Turo Terms of Service or any other Turo terms & conditions applicable to you. Your listing’s BC Program status is eligible for suspension or termination if you or your vehicles no longer meet the qualifications, your Turo account is permanently or temporarily suspended or closed, your vehicle(s) are removed from the platform, and/or Turo, in its sole discretion, has concerns about your ability to meet the needs of business travelers.
Updates to the Terms
Turo can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Turo website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. By continuing to use Turo, after we have posted a modification, you are indicating that you agree to be bound by the updated terms. If the modified terms are not acceptable to you, your only recourse is to stop using Turo and/or close your account.
We may also entirely discontinue the BC Program at any time, with or without notice to you.
