If a refund was processed from a recent transaction with Turo, it may take anywhere from three to five business days before you receive the funds back in your account for US payment methods. We wish there was something we could do to make it instantaneous, but the processing time is due to bank policies and protocol.
If you’re waiting for a refund, we recommend contacting your bank or credit card company to confirm their timeframe for posting travel-related refunds to your credit or debit card.
While there’s nothing we can do to speed up the process, we’re happy to provide additional documentation of the refund on our end if you haven’t received the funds after the three-to-five business day period.
Please note that there are some instances where refunds may take longer. Refunds for non-US payment methods can take anywhere from three business days to two weeks, and in rare cases, refunds for Apple Pay and Google Pay transactions can take up to 30 days.
