Share your Turo referral link
When your friends use your unique link to sign up for Turo, they receive $25 in travel credit, which is automatically applied to their first trip. You get $25 in referral travel credit for each friend who books and completes a trip. You earn $75 in referral travel credit for each friend who lists their car once that car is booked by a Turo guest.
Find your referral link on your invitation page and send it to your friends. You can also share your link on Facebook and Twitter. On the Turo app, you can find the invitation page in the Profile menu when you tap the “Get $25 credit” button.
While there are many ways to invite your friends, you may not use any forms of paid advertising to share your link. Doing so may result in your account being closed.
Advise your friends that your link is not a code; they can’t copy and paste it anywhere in the account sign-up flow. They must click on your referral link and sign up directly there in order for the system to identify and count them as a referral. Friends who sign up with your link must not already have a Turo account. You can earn referral travel credit for new users only.
Check the status of your referrals
You can track the status of your referrals to see who has signed up and completed a trip. In the app, tap “View travel credit earned” on the invitation page. On the website, sign in to turo.com and click “Get $25 credit” from the right drop-down menu. There’s a section near the bottom showing your total credit, how many friends you’ve referred, and how many referred friends have completed trips.
If a friend has joined Turo but you haven’t received referral travel credit, there are two common explanations:
- They haven’t yet completed their first trip with Turo.
- They didn’t properly use your referral link, so our system was unable to count them as a referral for you.
Use the travel credit you’ve earned
When someone you’ve referred completes their first trip, you’ll be notified of the referral travel credit you’ve earned. You can also see your earnings and current balance on your Turo account page.
Your referral travel credit will automatically be applied to the next trip you book. Once you go through the process of booking, you’ll see the amount deducted on the checkout page, under “Travel Credit.”
In some circumstances, Turo may add travel credit to your account as part of the resolution of a customer service issue. While all credit -- earned by referral or given to you by Turo -- is displayed under “Travel Credit” on your account, the credit you earn through referrals is subject to expiration after 180 days.
Terms and conditions
