We’ve partnered with Dryve to offer door-to-door vehicle delivery service to help Turo hosts with the key handoff in the Los Angeles market area.
Door-to-door vehicle delivery to your guest
You can place an order with Dryve to pick up your vehicle from your location before the trip start, and have a professional Dryve representative deliver your vehicle direct to your guest’s location. You can also request Dryve to pick up your car from your guest at the end of the trip and deliver it back to you.
Door-to-door vehicle delivery to the Turo Valet lot
You can place an order to pick up your vehicle from your location and have a professional Dryve representative drive your vehicle to the Turo Valet lot at the Custom Hotel near LAX. You can also request for Dryve to pick up your car from the Turo Valet lot and deliver it to you.
Service area and vehicle requirements
Dryve is offering door-to-door vehicle delivery in the Los Angeles area. Please note that you can only request Dryve to move and deliver your vehicle if both the pickup and drop off locations are within the service area. Your vehicle must meet Turo’s safe condition standards for Dryve to accept the vehicle. Dryve includes $5M liability protection, and up to $75k coverage for vehicle damage. Dryve’s insurance will provide protection to you while they are in possession of (delivering, retrieving, dropping off) your car.
How it works: Requesting vehicle delivery with Dryve
- Vehicle pickup location
- Pickup date and time
- Drop off location
- Turo trip details (reservation number, guest’s name, guest’s contact phone number, and vehicle model)
The app (or web form) will tell you the price for the vehicle delivery before you submit your order. Please place your order at least two hours in advance. Dryve operates from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. For special delivery requests outside of these hours of operation, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
When a Dryve representative is picking up your car from you, they’ll confirm your ID matches your vehicle’s registration, and then drive to your guest’s location (or Turo Valet lot) to conduct the key handoff on your behalf. If the Dryve representative is delivering your car to your guest, they will check their driver’s license before releasing the car to them. Be sure to photograph your car’s condition before and after the trip. The Dryve representative will not do this step for you.
Dryve customers typically pay between $20-$70 for a one-way delivery up to 30 miles. Price may vary based on service availability, or how much lead time you allow in your request. The app (or web form) will tell you the price for the vehicle delivery before you submit your order.
You can cancel your request at any time, but please note that there may be a $7.99 cancellation fee if it is less than two hours before the time your car is to be picked up.
