Turo primarily operates in the United States, Germany, and the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta. We have also expanded our offering to many more countries.
In the United States, Germany, and select provinces of Canada, Turo offers our primary person-to-person carsharing marketplace, which gives hosts the option to obtain protection under Turo’s 1 million-dollar liability insurance policy, or to provide their own commercial rental car liability insurance directly to their guests.
Outside of the United States, Germany, and select Canadian provinces, Turo only allows cars to be listed by Commercial Hosts (hosts who have their own commercial rental car insurance to offer directly to their guests).*
