Turo primarily operates in the United States and the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta. We have also expanded our offering to many more countries.
In the United States and select provinces of Canada, Turo offers our primary person-to-person carsharing marketplace, which gives owners the option to obtain protection under Turo’s 1 million-dollar liability insurance policy, or to provide their own commercial rental car liability insurance directly to their renters.
Outside of the United States and select Canadian provinces, Turo only allows cars to be listed where owners have their own commercial rental car insurance that they can offer directly to their customers.*
